Sustainable farming is a growing practice that is vital to the health and welfare of our planet, as we know it. While modern industrial agriculture is highly productive, it causes long-term problems that eventually can only be reversed through sustainable practices. 

At Havukal and Warwick, we make it a point to do our part in conserving the environment in every way we can, while also managing to maintain a level of quality that sets us apart.

  1. Our tea is grown at an elevation of 6500 MSL and is processed at a fully automated facility that highlights quality and hygiene with minimum contact from human hands. 
  2. We plant only new generation clones of high quality while maintaining pristine growing conditions through healthy agricultural practices that aims to build up the organic status of the soil through supplementing our processes with the use of in-house Vermicompost.
  3. Protection of wildlife and forests – Animals are highly protected in our ecosystem as is seen by the occasional visits from the Bison or deer that like to spend time on the plantation. We help preserve the surrounding forests in order to maintain the delicate balance of nature.
  4. Our commitment to Green Energy can be seen in our initiative in generating non-conventional, environment-friendly energy through sources such as windmills. Havukal runs on this eco-friendly energy and is supplemented by other renewable fuel sources.
